Staff Pharmacist - Long-Term Care
Location: Plainview, NY

RPH on the go is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a full-time, temp-to-perm position in a long-term care setting. This role will focus on product verification and cycle fills, ensuring high-quality service to patients on a regular medication schedule. This position is ideal for pharmacists with recent retail or long-term care experience who are looking for stable hours and a supportive work environment.

Duties:

  • Conduct product verifications for accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform cycle fills, handling approximately 100 items daily, to meet regular medication needs for long-term care patients.

Schedule/Shift:

  • Full-time: Monday - Friday, rotating weekends.
  • Mid-shift: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm or 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Active NY State Pharmacist License in good standing.
  • Experience: Recent pharmacy experience with a background in retail or long-term care required.

  • QS1 PrimeRx and DocuTrack

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $55 - $60/hour
