Job Description

We are seeking a skilled machine operator with mechanical aptitude to maintain and operate multiple machines efficiently. The role involves preparing molds for production, setting up machines, making adjustments, and performing tooling changes. You will also be responsible for inspecting produced parts to ensure quality and prevent damage. This position requires operating in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate up to three machines simultaneously.
  • Prepare molds for production processes.
  • Perform setups, changeovers, startups, and shutdowns of machines.
  • Make necessary adjustments to machines during production.
  • Inspect parts produced by machines for quality assurance.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for machine adjustments and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in machine operation.
  • At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to operate multiple machines concurrently.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Capable of wearing a respirator.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Preferred experience in troubleshooting mechanical equipment.

Work Environment

This role is in a large manufacturing facility with over 400 employees. The environment can be hot, and specific personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and provided by the company. Some overtime is available, typically around 45 hours per week. This is a non-union position.

The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $23.20
