Job Description:

The Welder/Fabricator will play a key role in the fabrication, assembly, and welding of components to produce equipment or products based on blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess excellent welding skills, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a steady-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan fabrication processes.

Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, some Stick) to fuse metals such as steel, aluminum, or stainless steel.

Perform cutting, grinding, and shaping tasks using hand tools or power equipment.

Assemble fabricated parts into subassemblies or complete structures using appropriate techniques.

Inspect welds and fabricated parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.

Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.

Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a welder/fabricator (minimum 2  years preferred).

Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Knowledge of fabrication processes and metal properties.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks.

Familiarity with safety practices and protocols in a welding/fabrication environment.

Optional: Welding certification is a plus.
