NOW HIRING Special Education Teacher in New Britain, CT | 2024-2025 School Year

Welcome to an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the upcoming academic year. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, collaborating with colleagues, and working closely with parents and support staff to ensure each student's success. Join us in making a difference in the lives of exceptional learners and helping them succeed both academically and personally.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Develop and Implement IEPs: Create tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and implement them effectively to address students academic and developmental needs.
  • IEP Meetings: Facilitate IEP meetings with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure students' needs are met.
  • Instruction & Intervention: Provide direct support and deliver specialized instruction to students in both academic and behavioral domains.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students have access to the most effective resources and support.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher required
  • State licensure in Special Education
  • Background Check
