Machine Operator – SMT Department
Location: Manchester, NH
Type of Role: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: Starting at $19.00/hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Department. This is a hands-on role involving the setup and operation of specialized machinery in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines within the SMT department.
  • Follow process sheets or written instructions from supervisors to complete production tasks.
  • Inspect operations to ensure they meet predetermined tolerances and quality standards.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and ESD program requirements.
  • Report accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Properly handle and dispose of waste, including hazardous materials, according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Machine Operator is mandatory.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 6 months of experience in contract manufacturing.
  • 6 months to 1 year of SMT Fuji machine experience, including setup and operation.
  • Familiarity with surface mount component identification.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Shift and Schedule:

  • Onsite position.
  • Shift: Thursday–Saturday, 5:30 PM–5:00 AM (three-day workweek).
