Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for performing testing of mechanical and electronic assemblies, such as RF radio amplifiers, cable assemblies, and associated systems/kits. The role also includes performing printed circuit board (PCB) testing.

Responsibilities
  • Automated testing and troubleshooting of RF, Digital, and Analog electronic subassemblies and products.
  • Maintaining accuracy of shop floor routing system, including in-process and completed production records.
  • Verifying test equipment is within calibration.
  • Complying with and making recommendations to the Quality Assurance Program.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with RF, radio frequency, electrical assembly, electronic assembly, and electronics.
  • Skilled in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic subassemblies and products.
  • Intermediate ability to extract and understand information from schematic, mechanical, and assembly drawings.
  • Intermediate knowledge in electronic circuit testing and troubleshooting, including RF, Digital, and Analog circuits.
  • Basic ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Basic knowledge of the safe and efficient use of shop tools and test equipment.
  • Basic communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Basic knowledge of and proficiency in IPC workmanship and soldering standards.
  • Basic ability to perform precision placement and soldering techniques according to product specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic industry quality assurance (QA) practices, such as IPC standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • PCB testing or electrical assembly testing experience preferred.
Shift:
  • 1st shift: 6:30am -3:00pm
  • Monday - Friday
  • Occasional overtime sometimes on Saturday if needed
Work Environment
  • Climate-controlled bench style work environment.
  • Dress code includes no shorts, closed-toe shoes, and no food or cell phones allowed on the production floor.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50
