2024-2025 School Speech Language Pathologist | Winchendon, MA
ProCare Therapy is excited to announce multiple full-time opportunities for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in Winchendon, MA, for the 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for passionate and dedicated professionals to deliver speech and language services to lower elementary grade students. This role is open to candidates with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellows (CFs), and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Position DetailsTitle: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Winchendon, MA
Schedule: Full-Time, 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM
Caseload: Lower Elementary Grades
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: Entire 2024/2025 School Year
Certifications: Open to CCCs, CFs, and SLPAs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in lower elementary students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' specific needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to address speech and language challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' educational goals.
- Monitor and document students' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
- Create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLPs and CFs).
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs.
- Experience working with elementary students is preferred.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality support and intervention services.
