Printing Press Operator

This long-term opportunity to work as Printing Press Operator in York, PA.
Responsibilities- Monitor the printing quality and communicate defects to the printer and other press crew.
- Perform scrub tests.
- Tag properly or cut defective product out at creeper bed.
- Clean and maintain the equipment daily.
- Assist printer and printer helper with clean-ups and set-ups.
- Check and monitor proper trimming throughout the job.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Printing experience.
- Machine operation.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Mechanical ability.
- Printing press operation.
- Forklift operation.
- Hoist operation.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math skills.
- Must be able to pass a color test and see minor printing defects.
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, etc. during a 10-hour schedule.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
- Must pass a physical demands test.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for advancement.
Annual work boot reimbursement
Benefits within 30 days of full-time employment.
Three weeks of vacation after being hired directly
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
