Seeking a carpenter helper/warehouse/grounds keeping person in Roswell, NM

Carpenter Helper/Warehouse/Groundskeeping Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $14.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Weekend work required
  • First Shift (Monday through Saturday from 06:00am to 03:30pm)

Carpenter's helper duties:

  • Measuring materials to make the right cuts.
  • Installing drywall and other project materials.
  • Cutting boards and wood planks to specific sizes.
  • Painting walls and other surfaces with paint rollers, brushes, and spray equipment.
  • Installing plasterboard or sheetrock on ceilings and walls with nails, hammers, hand tools, and trowels.
  • Attaching molding and other wood trimmings to ceilings or walls.

Warehouse duties:

  • Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials.
  • Packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

Grounds keeping duties:

  • Maintain grounds as needed.
  • Keep yard free from debris, weeds and trash.
  • Take all trash and debris to the dumpster.

Carpenter Helper/Warehouse/Groundskeeping Qualifications:

  • Carpentry experience
  • Drywall install/repair.
  • Familiar with hand tools.
  • Framing experience.
  • Ability to use a tape measure.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
