We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Program Coordinator in Palo Alto, California. As a Program Coordinator, you will be involved in various functions including business development, customer service, and the implementation and support of new and restructured programs. You will be responsible for planning and managing logistics, overseeing the production of marketing materials, and facilitating seamless communication among all departments.


Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and support projects aimed at enhancing internal operations and overall growth, ensuring clear and precise project expectations

• Establish workgroups to address necessary processes and procedures required for existing and new services, and distribute relevant communication regarding project activities

• Understand and facilitate Care Coordination workflow to assist with patient inquiries and visits as needed

• Manage the production of marketing and event materials for all internal and external activities

• Assist in the selection process for consultants, contractors, and vendors

• Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with department, hospital, and university policies

• Facilitate the assessment and documentation for business process flow changes necessary to achieve project outcomes

• Maintain detail-oriented relationships with customers, clients or vendors regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious or cultural beliefs

• Act as a representative when dealing with the community in the course of carrying out all assignments

• Perform other related and incidental duties as needed or assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience

  • Combination of education and experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • 5+ years of experience in related positions
  • Possession of necessary licenses or certifications.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and performance improvement principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large volumes of information.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in personal computing, including Word, Excel, Access, online databases, and internet use.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise independent judgment, and show initiative.
  • Capability to develop materials for marketing, education, and event planning.
  • Skilled in interacting with diverse groups and international audiences; multilingual skills are highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with academic medical center operations or ability to quickly learn and adapt.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external teams.
