We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a solid understanding of mechanical, piping, or plumbing trades to oversee commercial construction projects. *Position includes a 20% target bonus connected to company and individual results.*

Core Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute Commercial Construction projects based on company values and objectives.

  • Assists on multiple projects, providing guidance to other project managers. Steps in to manage and assist on larger, more complex, and strategic projects.

  • Develop project solutions with a team-based approach.

  • Lead company' project teams to yield safe, consistent, profitable, and high-quality construction results.

Primary Duties (list is not comprehensive and priorities will change on a day-to-day basis):

  • Develop and maintain good-standing relationships with our clients; provide timely responses and leveraging additional sales opportunities.

  • Formulate the high-performance project team.

  • Develop and mentor company project team members.

  • Consistently utilize company planning processes (For Example: Kickoff, Turnover, Planning, Critical Path and weekly Operations meetings) to establish and execute project plans.

  • Establish specific project goals with the company project team and monitor those targets.

  • Assign project tasks as necessary to team members; clearly defining responsibilities and expectations. (For Example: Submittals, Purchasing, RFIs, Pre-Fab, Closeout, etc.)

  • Project Manager is ultimately responsible for all financial aspects of their projects. (For Example: SOVs, Change Orders, Billings, Project Reviews, etc.)

  • Be proactive in identifying issues and opportunities, and solving problems.

  • Ensure safe practices; be proactive in identifying project hazards to minimize risks.

  • Hold company project teams accountable; provide positive feedback or corrective action when appropriate.
