Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
Location: Remote (Johnston, RI School District)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 16, 2025

Position Type: Part-Time (3 days per week, during school hours) Independent Contract
Hourly Rate: $50-$55/hr (covers direct and indirect services; paid weekly)
Caseload: Fewer than 50 students
Grade Level: High School
Disabilities: Moderate to Severe

Job Summary:

VocoVision is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a remote position to provide support to high school students with moderate to severe disabilities. This flexible, part-time opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while managing a manageable caseload. Ideal candidates should have experience working with high school students with IEPs and be familiar with the ASPEN IEP system.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech therapy services to students with moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Develop, implement, and track IEP goals and objectives for each student.
  • Conduct speech assessments and evaluations as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer insights on student progress.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • Active Rhode Island state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Valid teaching credential through the RI Department of Education.
  • Experience working with high school students with moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Familiarity with the ASPEN IEP system is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work remotely and independently.
Additional Information:
  • Caseload: Fewer than 50 students.
  • Work Schedule: 3 days per week during school hours.
  • Licensing: Must be licensed in both the state of residence and Rhode Island.
  • Contract Term: The position runs through June 16, 2025, with the possibility of summer work or renewal for the next school year.
