Occupational Therapist

Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Rainbow, CA. This school-based role focuses on helping students develop, improve, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and academic success. The successful candidate will work closely with educators, families, and other professionals to enhance student participation in school activities and promote independence.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students abilities and needs for occupational therapy services.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Provide direct therapy to students with a range of physical, developmental, and cognitive disabilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student development.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide remendations to support student success.
• Educate staff and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued growth.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active California state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Strong munication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
