Available Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F

Job Description

As a Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for verifying that parts, lot numbers, and quantities picked match the pick list. You will select the appropriate packaging method, label parts according to customer requirements, and pack customer orders quickly, efficiently, and accurately. You will use customer-specific portals to upload documents, create advance shipping notices or bills of lading, and create additional shipping documents as necessary. Responsibilities

• Verify part, lot, and quantity picked matches the pick list.
• Select appropriate packaging method and label parts per customer requirements.
• Pack customer orders quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Use customer-specific portals to upload documents, create advance shipping notices or bills of lading, and create additional shipping documents as necessary.
• Process small packages through various carriers (UPS/FedEx/DHL).
• Utilize the company ERP system for data entry and item/warehouse management.
• Communicate daily with sales/purchasing departments regarding order/package issues, delays, damage, or any other occurrences that may affect outgoing or future orders.
• Follow all AS9100, AS9120, ISO9001 standards, WISHA, and OSHA regulations.

Essential Skills

• Experience with warehouse shipping.
• Any shipping experience.
• Inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 70 pounds, and rarely lift or move up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms frequently.
• Occasional requirements to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Required to talk or hear.
• Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00
