Property Accountant

Essential Functions (including but not limited to):
· Applying Cash Receipts
· Process monthly billings to tenants
· Prepare and process non-standard charges
· Print and file monthly reports
· Approve or code vendor invoices with proper GL account and accounting date
· Prepare monthly financial statements
· Distribute monthly financial statements
· Coordinate, prepare, and present annual budget
· Input approved budget into Yardi
· Prepare for and attend quarterly variance meetings
· Prepare, file, and pay state and city B&O taxes
· Lease Administration; create abstract's, route for review input into accouting system
· Timely and consistent receivable follow up and collections
· Work with property manager on non-responsive tenants
Competencies:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Professional and pleasant telephone manner.
· Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees and customers.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of Continuecomputer hardware and software.

Pay DOE 75K to 85K
