Candidates will be MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel to produce exhaust systems for power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off-road markets. Tack welding will also be a part of their duties along with assembling the exhausts. The majority of the work will be a mix of custom and production style MIG welding. Candidates need to know how to read blueprints and weld symbols. Being able to perform a variety of tasks throughout the shop is key to learning and growing within the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel
• Produce exhaust systems for various markets
• Tack welding and assembly of exhausts
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
• Assist with fabrication work including running a brake press, shear, roller, etc.
• Perform a variety of tasks throughout the shop

Essential Skills

• MIG welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Experience with metal fabrication
• Knowledge of welding techniques including plasma cutting, TIG welding, and wire feed

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with brake press operation
• Proficiency with tape measure

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00
