Endpoint Engineer

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a proficient Endpoint Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is based in Des Plaines, Illinois, and provides a unique opportunity for a contract to permanent employment. As an Endpoint Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our IT infrastructure while dealing with a variety of hardware systems and software.

Responsibilities:

• Lead IT projects aimed at supporting and improving our IT infrastructure.
• Manage the configuration, installation, customization, and troubleshooting of diverse hardware systems.
• Provide operational support for endpoint hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Oversee the administration and user accounts across a range of systems.
• Be accountable for patching and vulnerability remediation in endpoint systems.
• Offer escalation support for our Service Desk and associated call center.
• Ensure effective communication with end users to assist and guide them through our IT ticketing system.• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required
• Demonstrated expertise in Cloud Technologies
• Must possess knowledge of Active Directory
• Familiarity with Backup Technologies is essential
• Competency in Computer Hardware
• Experience with Azure Active Directory is a must
• Proficiency in using Office 365
• Knowledge of Windows 11 is expected
• Familiarity with Windows Intune is required
• Experience with Network Cabling is a must
• Proficiency in MFA is expected
• Must be familiar with ServiceNow Platform
• Knowledge of Windows 10 is essential
• Experience with Exchange is required
• Expertise in VPN Technologies is expected
