Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for an onsite position in Jaffrey, NH for the 2024-2025 school year. This position focuses on providing evaluations, testing, and assessments for an elementary school caseload. As a school psychologist, you will play an essential role in assessing student needs and working closely with educators and families to develop strategies for student success.

This is a full-time, contract position offering excellent pay and benefits, with the opportunity to work in a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Perform testing and assessments for students to help identify learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other academic or emotional challenges.
  • Provide remendations for academic and behavioral interventions based on evaluation results.
  • Work with elementary-aged students, providing individual and group counseling as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop strategies to support students academic and social-emotional growth.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to provide insights and remendations for students' educational plans.
  • Monitor student progress and provide ongoing assessments to ensure the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to students when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans in pliance with district policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in New Hampshire.
  • Experience working with elementary school students is preferred but not required.
  • Strong skills in psychological evaluations, testing, and assessment.
  • Excellent munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of educators, parents, and administrators.
  • Passion for supporting the academic and emotional well-being of elementary-aged students.
