Position Overview

Were hiring an Interim PIC/Working Manager for a 70-bed behavioral health facility in Richmond, TX. This 13-week assignment offers a chance to lead and manage pharmacy services, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Job Details
  • Start Date: Within ~2 weeks
  • Duration: 13 weeks (temp-to-hire option available)
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shifts
  • Setting: Behavioral health pharmacy, specializing in oral and psychotropic medications
Key Responsibilities
  • Verify, fill, and check prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring pliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide medication expertise, focusing on psychotropic and oral medications.
  • Mentor and manage the pharmacy team, promoting a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Licensure: Active Texas Pharmacist license required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a PIC or managerial role preferred.
  • Candidate Profile: Local candidates preferred; must be open to taking on a leadership role.
