$20 - $25 per hour, based on experienceShift/Schedule
  • 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Monday to Friday

Job SummaryVIP Staffing South Dallas is hiring a skilled Pipe Welder to join a manufacturing facility in Irving, TX. The company produces piping and related supplies for the plumbing industry. This role involves welding various pipe components using MIG and TIG techniques, adhering to blueprints, and ensuring high-quality production. It’s a temp-to-hire role, offering a great long-term opportunity for motivated welders with strong skills and a reliable work ethic.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on pipes and metal fittings in a timely manner
  • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products to exact specifications
  • Follow blueprints and technical drawings to meet precise product requirements
  • Ensure welding processes meet safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production workflow
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good working order
  • Perform other welding-related duties as needed
Required Experience
  • 3+ years of experience with MIG and TIG welding
  • 3+ years of experience working with pipe welding
  • Proven ability to interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Experience in the plumbing or piping manufacturing industry
  • Prior experience in a high-volume production environment
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control in welding tasks
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work overtime when required
