Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape and Hardscape Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in landscaping and hardscaping, strong leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills. As the foreman, you will oversee teams of 3-5 employees, ensure project goals are met, and report directly to the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead a team of 3-5 employees in the completion of landscape and hardscape projects.

  • Execute tasks such as installing hardscapes, plantings, irrigation systems, and other landscaping features.

  • Operate and maintain landscaping and construction equipment safely and effectively.

  • Interpret and execute project plans and designs with accuracy.

  • Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner to address questions, concerns, and project updates.

  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to plan daily tasks, resolve issues, and maintain project timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Landscape and Hardscape Experience: Proven experience in landscape and hardscape installation is required.

  • Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.

  • Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating landscaping and construction equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and trenchers.

  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

  • Irrigation Experience: Familiarity with irrigation systems, including installation and maintenance.

  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.

  • Plan Reading: Ability to read and interpret landscape and hardscape plans and specifications.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

  • Certifications in landscaping, hardscaping, or irrigation systems.

  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)
