Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Contract Job
ProCare Therapy has teamed up with an excellent school district near Lithonia, GA looking for someone to join their team as a Speech Language Pathologist for the currentschool year If we find the right candidate to fill the position, there is an opportunity of renewing for the next school year. Start Date: ASAP start
Pay: Starting at $46+/hour
Caseload:K-12 - details discussed further on interview
Position Overview:
- Evaluation & Planning: Perform comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills, and develop personalized therapy plans to address issues such as articulation, fluency, and language development.
- Skill Enhancement: Utilize targeted therapy techniques to foster improvements in students' communication abilities, enhancing their academic and social success.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and school staff to deliver a holistic approach to student development.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress to ensure ongoing evaluation and clear communication of outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Licensure: Valid SLP license in Georgia
- Experience: Previous experience working with students of various needs is highly valued.
- Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for engaging with students, families, and colleagues.
