Calling on Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) based in Visalia, CA, who want to serve rural munities and are flexible with driving to multiple sites. Soliant is working with a health services team that services schools throughout Tulare County, and is seeking a contract LVN to support them.

Description of duties:

  • Providespecialized nursing services includingtube feedings, catheterizations, etc.
  • Supporthealth screenings forvision and hearing
  • Ensure that student health plans are up-to-date, and that immunization programs are implemented
  • Providefirst aid
  • municatewith parents, doctors, and agencies to facilitate services to students with special health care needs.
  • Dispensemedication to students with prescriptions
  • pleteschool medical records

Requirements:

  • Active California LVN license
  • Experience with pediatrics or school health settings preferred
  • Must have valid California Driver's license, and be willing to cover sites at the direction of the Student Health team (mileage reimbursement is available if candidate is covering more than 1 site a day)
