Job Description:

Soliant is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based role in Pisgah Forest, NC. As an SLPA, you will collaborate with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to students, helping them develop essential munication skills in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in delivering therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Implement speech-language intervention programs designed by the supervising SLP.
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions.
  • Support students in achieving their munication goals as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success in the classroom and beyond.
  • Assist in administering screenings and assessments under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders.
  • North Carolina SLPA license or eligibility to obtain.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Excellent munication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and follow guidance from the supervising SLP.
