Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate for an open-ended contract position on the 1st shift. The hours are from 8am to 5pm, with usually 1 hour of overtime which could be before or after the shift. The role involves receiving printed orders from the computer, manually pulling orders off the ticket and taking them to the staging area, and possibly cutting down rolls to smaller custom sizes. You will utilize hand tools and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities
  • Receive printed orders off the computer.
  • Manually pull orders off the ticket and take them to the staging area.
  • Cut down rolls to smaller custom sizes as needed.
  • Utilize hand tools and pallet jacks for order handling.
  • Perform shipping, cycle counting, inventory management, and order pulling.
  • Communicate with sales teams on a daily basis for inter-office coordination.
Essential Skills
  • 2 years of experience pulling orders.
  • Ability to use a computer and learn the SAP system.
  • Experience with shipping, cycle counting, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in reading a tape measure and performing basic math.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and inter-office communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with RF scanners and pallet jacks.
  • warehouse and distribution environments.

Work Environment

The warehouse is clean and full of rolls of film coating used in automotive and window treatments. The position is on the 1st shift from 8am to 5pm, with usually 1 hour of overtime which could be before or after the shift. Occasional Saturday shifts may be required. You must be in a huddle in PPE by 8am.
