Purpose of Position:

Perform highly diversified duties to install, repair and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. Includes troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other types of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities at predetermined intervals

• Perform simple fabrication tasks utilizing basic machining equipment

• Perform basic facility maintenance such as changing light bulbs, ballasts, general office support, etc.

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service

• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties

• Detect faulty or unsafe operations or processes and report those to proper supervision

• Comply and facilitate enforcement of all safety regulations

• Maintain clean and orderly work areas

• Manage and record work using a computerized PM and Work Request System.
