Summary: Seeking a Final Line Mechanic II with expertise in assembling, installing, and adjusting aircraft structure parts and system components.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 3 years aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience (e.g., auto mechanics, heavy equipment)

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

  • Skilled in close tolerance work and use of special tools

  • Experience with hydraulic mule pumps, fixtures, and jigs

Preferred Skills:

  • Solumina and Smarteam experience

  • Prior experience in Avionics or Aviation industry

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, and adjust aircraft structure parts and system components

  • Rig control cables, sectors, linkages, control surfaces, landing gear and doors, engines, cowls, aircraft entry doors

  • Remove and replace system components; cut and fit system lines for repairs

  • Install systems lines, valves, ducts ensuring leak-free systems

  • Utilize a variety of tools for component installation and minor structure installation

  • Troubleshoot mechanical/structural problems to perform basic repairs

  • Maintain logs/records such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs

  • Support continuous improvement processes



Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
