Soliant is actively seeking a passionate and experienced School Social Worker for a full-time, on-site position with a weling school district near Minneapolis, MN. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working closely with students and collaborating with Special Education teachers and other school staff to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students, addressing their social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with Special Education teachers, classroom teachers, and other staff to develop and implement strategies for student success.
  • Offer individual and group counseling sessions to help students navigate challenges such as family issues, mental health concerns, and academic struggles.
  • Facilitate munication between school, families, and munity agencies to support student well-being.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development and monitoring of individualized plans for students with special needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student services and progress, ensuring pliance with school policies and state requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
  • Minnesota licensure as a School Social Worker.
  • Previous experience in a school setting, especially with special education, is highly preferred.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Excellent munication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Job Details:
