Job Summary

Responsible for performing final and in-process inspections and audits to ensure products meet specified build and quality standards. Tasks may include coordinating product returns for supplier corrective actions and ensuring compliance with ISO and other quality system standards. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Principal Responsibilities

  • Conducting random, scheduled, and unscheduled audits to verify conformance with customer specifications, technical drawings, manufacturer requirements, assembly manuals, and company procedures.
  • Maintaining logs and data related to quality metrics, returned materials, supplier information, and nonconformance findings to assist in trend analysis.
  • Performing root cause analyses by evaluating material returns, documentation, and employee feedback to identify causes of defects or process issues.
  • Preparing and monitoring product return documentation for supplier failure analysis and corrective actions.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of ISO system documentation, including work instructions and departmental policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 1 year of visual inspection experience.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reading numbers and verifying product compliance.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
