Job Description

Seeking a night shift maintenance technician for a CNC & aluminum extrusion facility. You'll be responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance, including preventive maintenance (PMs), reactive maintenance, and any facility maintenance that arises. You will work on CNC machinery, extrusion machinery, brake presses, lasers, and some powder coating machines. PMs include basic greasing of bearings, tightening of bolts, etc. You will be responsible for fixing all aspects of the extrusion machines, including 480v 3-phase motors, servos, AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, some small level conveyors, extruders, VFDs, and gear boxes. All machines are operated on the person PLCs. PLC troubleshooting, new machine installation, or other project-type work is a plus. In a typical day, you'll participate in a passover meeting and spend your day doing reactive maintenance to ensure production runs smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as greasing bearings and tightening bolts.
  • Conduct reactive maintenance to keep production running smoothly.
  • Maintain and repair CNC machinery, extrusion machinery, brake presses, lasers, and powder coating machines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair 480v 3-phase motors, servos, AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, extruders, VFDs, and gear boxes.
  • Handle PLC troubleshooting and participate in new machine installations or other project work.
  • Attend passover meetings to discuss daily maintenance tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00
