Soliant is seeking two full-time Oncology Pharmacists to join our dedicated team. This 13-week+ temp-to-hire opportunity offers a unique chance to work within a specialized oncology setting. Duration: 13 Weeks+ (Temp to Hire)
Location: (Between Taa and Seattle)
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:45 AM 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide drug and clinical information to healthcare professionals for evolving patient care.
- Ensure pliance with federal and state regulations for drug storage and accountability.
- Monitor and maintain acceptable temperature ranges in drug refrigerators.
- Serve as a resource for pharmacy and medication-related inquiries for clinic staff.
- Support e-scripting needs and oversee daily chemotherapy drug orders managed by pharmacy technicians.
- Manage clinic and research pharmacy in pliance with pharmacy laws and oversee pharmacy technicians.
- Perform some pounding duties, while pharmacy technicians primarily handle mixing.
- Support drug ordering, inventory management, and other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- PharmD degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification required.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an oncology pharmacist.
- Active and clear Washington State pharmacist license.
Work Environment:
- Infusion Bays: 25 infusion bays for patient treatment.
- Dispensing: All on-site, streamlining the process.
- IT System: Onco EMR (proprietary system).
- Support Staff: Two certified pharmacy technicians, with one technician typically assigned per shift.
