Support and Inspire Students in Gages Lake, IL
ProCare Therapy is hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher for an Emotional Disabilities (ED) classroom in Gages Lake, Illinois. This full-time position focuses on providing tailored academic and therapeutic interventions for 2nd and 3rd-grade students in a therapeutic day school setting. Work with a committed team of professionals in a supportive environment designed to empower student success.
Position Overview- Location: Gages Lake, IL
- Grade Levels: 2nd and 3rd
- Setting: Therapeutic Day School
- Focus: Emotional Disabilities (ED) classroom
- Support: Collaborative team, including behavior specialists and counselors
- Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with emotional disabilities.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address social-emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with behavior specialists, counselors, and paraprofessionals to ensure holistic student support.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, making necessary adjustments to strategies.
- Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and emotional growth.
- Active Illinois Special Education Certification (required).
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
- Experience working with students with emotional disabilities (preferred).
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills.
- Hourly Pay: $32+ (Varies depending on experience).
- Weekly pay via direct deposit.
