Position: School Paraprofessional
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:15 AM 2:35 PM
Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $20-25
We are seeking a dedicated School Paraprofessional to join our team near Belfast,Maine. This full-time role involves working 1:1 with students in a supportive setting, focusing on behavior needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students with behavioral needs, implementing individualized strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Support the implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Foster social, emotional, and academic growth in students.
- Document student progress and communicate with the educational team.
Qualifications:
- Ed Tech III Certification is required.
- Previous experience working with students with behavioral needs is preferred.
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students and contribute to a team environment.
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a Soliant EducationRecruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
