Position: Property Assistant | Accounting (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Oakland, CA (Near BART station with parking garage access)
Onsite/Remote: Onsite

Position Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000 annually

  • Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (punctuality required, no flexibility on start time)

  • Dress Code: Business casual (no jeans)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tenant Interaction:

    • Serve as the point of contact for tenant inquiries via walk-ins, phone, email, and work order requests.

  • Team Support:

    • Provide administrative support for office projects, including vendor coordination, contractor scheduling, and other office needs.

  • General Assistance:

    • Collaborate with a close-knit team on various tasks, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Technical Requirements:

  • Software Proficiency:

    • Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Yardi, Angus

  • Basic Accounting Knowledge:

    • Familiarity with coding invoices, budgeting tools in Excel, and handling invoice reviews and tenant billing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 1 year in property management, preferably within commercial real estate.

  • Skills & Attributes:

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

    • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

    • Comfortable working with numbers and data; Excel proficiency required

    • Eagerness to grow professionally within the organization

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
