Job Title:Instructional Aide
Location:Anoka, MN

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with educators to implement lesson plans and engaging teaching activities.
  • Provide tailored support to students in one-on-one or small group settings to ensure they grasp key concepts.
  • Help prepare educational materials and create a vibrant classroom environment.
  • Support students with special needs by adhering to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as directed.
  • Supervise students during lunchtime, recess, and field trips to ensure safety and engagement.
  • May involve additional responsibilities such as toileting assistance, bus supervision, lifting, behavioral support, and classroom redirection.

Other Details:

  • This will be a 90 day contract that turns into a permanent position with the school district.
  • Candidate will be able to choose the location/school in the district they feel most comfortable with.
  • The different location options will be discussed in a pre-interview screening.

Requirements:

  • Candidate has to be highly qualified (Must Satisfy 1 of 2 Options)

    1. Pass MN Board Highly Qualified Paraeducator Exam

    2. Have at least 60 college credits, attach transcripts to present

  • CPI training is preferred but not required.
