We are in search of a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role is central to our operations within the construction industry and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will be integral to the procurement processes, project management, and financial aspects of our projects.


Responsibilities:

• Procure goods and services for various projects, ensuring all necessary documentation is secured and the process is monitored until project close-out.

• Efficiently manage the use of diverse funding sources, including those from local and state grants.

• Collaborate with the Business Office and Grant Manager to guarantee financial tracking and reporting requirements are adhered to.

• Maintain and analyze financial data in both the Operating Budget and the Capital Project Budget for individual projects.

• Reconcile credit card statements to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.

• Assist in producing detailed budgeting analyses and reports.

• Maintain all financial-related files in compliance with legal and policy requirements.

• Coordinate and collaborate with the Capital Projects and Maintenance Team on procurement activities.

• Ensure proper accountability of records and submit any required documentation as requested.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project coordination
• Proficiency in accounting functions and basic bookkeeping
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Full Charge Bookkeeper responsibilities and functions
• Proficiency in using CMMS System for computerized maintenance management
• Experience in credit card reconciliation
• Strong project management skills, preferably within the construction industry
• Experience in handling construction projects and related accounting
• Proficiency in procurement activities, functions, and processes
• Experience in managing budgets, budgeting, and operating budget administration
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in using NetSuite software.
