Job Description

The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to MIG and Stick weld steel. The candidate will be required to pass a basic MIG weld test, including setting up the machine after it has been zeroed out, and perform steel welds on materials ranging from 20 gauge to 5/8 inch.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
  • Perform MIG and Stick welding on steel.
  • Pass a MIG weld test, including setting up the welding machine.
  • Weld steel materials ranging from 20 gauge to 5/8 inch.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
  • Experience in setting up and operating welding machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Entry-level candidates with relevant schooling are acceptable.

Our work environment includes modern manufacturing facilities, including locations in Chandler, Arizona. We specialize in producing and designing equipment for pavement preservation, such as melter/applicators, crack preparation equipment, and spray injection patching equipment. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
