Job Title:Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location:Buffalo, NY

Position Details:

  • Hours:Full-time
  • Start Date:ASAP.
  • End Date:End of the current school year with potential for extension.
  • Location:Onsite in Buffalo, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students' speech and language needs, including articulation, language comprehension, and social communication.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students on a one-on-one or group basis.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to develop strategies for supporting students' communication needs across environments.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant school and state regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech-related goals.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of speech disorders and therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
