Qualifications:We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds a Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Possesses a valid Connecticut School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain one.
- Has a passion for working with students and promoting their academic, emotional, and social growth.
- Demonstrates excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students academic and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students well-being and academic success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide counseling services to students as needed to help them cope with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Promote positive behavioral and social development within the school munity.
