Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized and engaging virtual instruction to students with special needs.
- Develop and adapt individualized lesson plans and materials that cater to diverse learning abilities.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and fellow educators to create and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Utilize innovative teaching techniques and resources to address individual learning styles and challenges in an online setting.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track achievements in alignment with IEP goals.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive virtual classroom environment that promotes students' social and academic growth.
- Stay informed about best practices in special education and employ creative approaches to meet students' needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico teaching certification.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in teaching students with special needs.
- Profound understanding of IEP development, implementation, and assessment.
- Possession of a 1099 or liability insurance.
- Successful completion of a basic technical screening.
- Reliable high-speed internet and necessary technology for remote work.
