Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong electro-mechanical proficiency to join our team. You will work with specialized equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), to control machinery on factory assembly lines. Your responsibilities will include carrying out routine maintenance, responding to equipment faults, writing maintenance strategies, diagnosing breakdown problems, fitting new parts, and ensuring equipment is working correctly. You will also liaise with Production and Procurement departments, assist with specialist procurement, and control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment while applying 5S practices. The role requires rapid problem-solving skills to deal with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs efficiently and timely.

Hard Skills
  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience with machining and metal fabrication
  • Strong electro-mechanical back-ground
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC)
  • Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Soft Skills
  • Capacity to understand a range of supervising functions and procedures
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate others
  • Teamworking skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in New Mexico.

Work Environment

Manufacturing setting with swamp coolers. Team size during shift is about 10 employees. Working hours are 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.
