Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School Health Maryland

Position Overview

The Virtual Speech Language Pathologist will deliver speech therapy services to schoolsthroughout Maryland via teletherapy platforms. This remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with communication disorders.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate student'sspeech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student'sneeds, goals, and preferences.
  • Deliver therapy sessions using teletherapy platforms, incorporating evidence-based techniques and interventions.
  • Monitor student'sprogress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document sessions and progress notes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide education and guidance to students and parentson strategies for improving communication skills and achieving therapy goals.
  • Collaborate with educators and other therapists, to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and current Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Minimum of [2] years of experience providing speech therapy services
  • Proficiency in using technology and teletherapy platforms for service delivery.
