We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and focus on enhancing students communication skills and academic achievements.

Position Overview:
We are in search of a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to provide exceptional therapy services to students with diverse communication needs. The right candidate will evaluate students speech and language abilities, formulate personalized therapy plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support each students educational and developmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct detailed evaluations to assess students' speech and language competencies. Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and set therapy goals based on assessment findings and individual student needs.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Deliver direct speech and language therapy, focusing on areas such as articulation, language development, and communication strategies. Create engaging therapeutic activities to improve students' communication skills and academic success.
  • Collaboration: Work in close partnership with educators, special education teams, and families to incorporate speech and language strategies into classroom settings and daily routines. Attend IEP meetings to provide recommendations for communication supports and necessary adjustments.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep meticulous records of student progress, therapy plans, and session notes. Prepare reports for IEP meetings, progress assessments, and compliance with regulations.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on advancements in speech-language pathology and special education. Participate in ongoing training to enhance your expertise and skill set.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in a school setting or with children with diverse communication needs. Familiarity with IEP development and execution is a plus.
  • Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of speech-language pathology methods and best practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to student needs.
