Full Time Radiologic Technologist- Days- $21-$32 per hour plus up to $5K Relocation Allowance-Salina, KS
Job Description: The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic medical radiographic procedures on all patient populations (neonate through geriatric) and exhibits superior levels of customer service. The technologist effectively operates radiographic equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings (Radiology Department, Emergency Department, Operating Room, or at the patient's bedside). The technologist explains procedures to the patient, demonstrates appropriate patient positioning, and obtains optimum views of specified anatomy. The technologist adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines. The technologist demonstrates effective radiation safety practices and assists the Radiologist, when necessary. Technologists interact with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis. The technologist may also perform various other duties as assigned by the Radiology Supervisor or Director of Radiology.
Shift: Days, 8 hours, with rotating weekends and on-call coverage
Estimated Start Date: 01/13/2025
Pay Info: $21-$32 per hour based on education and experience, up to $5K Relocation allowance
Requirements:
Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
ARRT Registry or graduate student eligible for examination
Current KS state license
BLS Certification
