Location: Fort Covington, NY
Position: Full-Time K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist
School Year: 2024-2025

Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Fort Covington, NY for the 2024-2025 school year. This position involves providing 1:1 and group therapy, along with comprehensive case management, to support the speech and language needs of K-12 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to determine student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective support for students.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case management records.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress discussions.
  • Stay updated on the latest best practices and strategies in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
