Antreville, SC Area | Full Time | SLP School Speech Language Pathologist

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Full-Time School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Antreville, SC area for the 2024/2025 school year. This role entails delivering speech and language therapy services to students within school environments.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Intervention and Therapy: Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective communication strategies and support plans.
- IEP Development: Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, treatment plans, and other required documentation.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to school staff and parents on speech and language development and intervention strategies.
- Professional Development: Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Carolina.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
