Sheppard Pratt is actively seeking experienced RNs for a Nurse Educator role. As a Nurse Educator you will be responsible for designing, evaluating, updating, and implementing new and current nursing education curriculum. You will also act as an advisor and role model for the all staff. You will teach courses and provide training to licensed and unlicensed clinical team members in the use of new equipment, supplied, and instruments; coordinates in-service training and workshops for appropriate staff.

 

 

Position: Psych RN - Nurse Educator Role

Location: Sheppard Pratt Hospital, Towson Campus | Baltimore, MD

 

Possible December & January Start Dates available - secure a role before the holidays

 

Hours/Shift:

• 40 hours/week, exempt
• Standard Office Hours, 8am-4:30p
• Day Shift, Full-time
• For team trainings, you will need to arrive earlier for set-up around 7:15-7:30, and clean up around 4:30p**

Compensation & Benefits:

• $77,640, must have at least 2-3 years of experience (1 year of psych)
• Pay Increases based on experience as RN and nursing education experience

 

 

Qualifications:

• RN license (MD Compact)
• MSN or (Masters in Education w/ BSN)
• BLS Certification and CPI
• 2 year of RN experience required (1 year of Psych experience at least)
