Job Description

Rework Technicians are tasked with desoldering and soldering of surface mount and through-hole components for electronic manufactured PCBA. Solder Rework Specialists must be able to assemble, modify, and repair electrical components to PCBA/CCA assemblies through interpreting board diagrams and drawings. Rework Specialists are responsible for all repair and rework on complex printed circuit boards to IPC-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 specifications.

Responsibilities

• Desolder and solder surface mount and through-hole components for electronic manufactured PCBA.
• Assemble, modify, and repair electrical components to PCBA/CCA assemblies.
• Interpret board diagrams and drawings for accurate assembly and repair.
• Perform all repair and rework on complex printed circuit boards to IPC-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 specifications.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in soldering and rework techniques.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
• Experience with electronic assembly, SMT, and through-hole components.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and board drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with IPC 7711/21 standards.
• Strong inspection skills to ensure quality and compliance.
• Experience working in a clean room and static-free environment.
