Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Invoicing Assistant to join our team located in Muskego, Wisconsin. The primary function of this role is to manage and maintain the invoicing processes within our organization. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer invoices in a timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure prompt payment and take necessary action when required
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer invoices and payments
• Resolve any customer inquiries related to invoicing in a professional and efficient manner
• Regularly review invoicing processes and suggest improvements when necessary
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a smooth workflow and achieve team objectives
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all invoicing processes
• Handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner
• Provide support to other accounting tasks as needed
• Liaise with other departments to ensure correct and timely billing information.• Proficiency in the use of invoicing software is mandatory.
• Understanding of general finance and accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors.
• Excellent organizational skills to keep financial records orderly.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of data entry processes and touch typing.
• Proficiency in the use of office software such as MS Excel.
• Strong customer service skills to manage client queries and complaints.
• Basic math skills to calculate charges, refunds, and the like.
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
