Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to fill orders for a Long Term Care Pharmacy in Westport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for filling orders, packaging, labeling, and maintaining inventory using filling machines such as bubble packs. This position involves working under the supervision of pharmacists and does not require cross-training with the data entry team.

Responsibilities
  • Fill orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Package and label medications appropriately.
  • Maintain and track inventory levels.
  • Utilize filling machines, including bubble packs.
  • Work under the supervision of pharmacists.
  • Meet the metric of filling 150 scripts per shift.
Essential Skills
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license (must verify before applying).
  • Experience in a fulfillment pharmacy setting.
  • Proficiency in inventory management.
  • Attention to detail in labeling and packaging.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a long-term care pharmacy is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills.
Work Environment

This is a closed-door pharmacy with a shift schedule of 9:15am - 5:45pm, Monday to Friday, and one Saturday per month from 9am - 3pm. Candidates must bring their Pharmacy Technician license on the first day.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
